lavendarI am a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapy (IACP) having completed a three year degree at the Institute of Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (IICP). I also hold a Certificate in Child and Adolescents counselling. I work with adults, children, teenagers and couples. I work from a humanistic and existential perspective and integrative therapies to help alleviate pain and suffering which the client may be experiencing.  Such practices may include the use of Person Centred Approach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Reality Therapy.

What is counselling & psychotherapy?

Counselling & Psychotherapy aims to help you live in a manner that respects your values, needs and self determination.  It provides you with a non-judgmental space to explore all aspects of your life that may be causing you upset, inner conflict or emotional turmoil.  It encourages you to self reflect, take control of your life and become self empowered which in turn helps you to make positive changes in your life.  This work is done in a confidential, sensitive and gentle manner and in total collaboration with you, the client.    The number of sessions required will depend on the individual person and the issue involved.  Counselling sessions will take place on a weekly or fortnightly basis depending on the needs of the client.

How much does a session cost and how long is a session?

Each session last 60 minutes and the cost is:

Individual Counselling & Psychotherapy €60
Couples Counselling €70
Children & Teenagers €30
Low income/unemployed – sliding scale
